The multiple-power attack rules on page 234 state that "characters should not combine Ranged and non-Ranged Powers into a multiple-Power attack (unless the GM permits this)". Why is this and what might be some exceptions to this rule?
I want to combine a Strike Maneuver with an Energy Blast that is normally discharged from the character's hands. Essentially, it would entail punching an opponent while simultaneously discharging the EB.
Since the EB is not being used at range, would this be an allowable multiple-power attack? Thanks!
