I am curious as to how Rep works. I repped someone a while back then after some time I had repped several other people. I now have a reason to go back and rep the first person again, but I keep getting a message that I must spread some rep around before repping this person again. My question is how many people must I rep before I can rep the first person again?

I believe it's something like this:

You must rep 20 different people before you can rep the same person again.

The amount of rep you give is based on your gaming posts/1000 plus how many years you've been a member of the boards plus your rep/1000.

Ah ok, Thanks. I knew there was a ration I just didn't know what it was.

And no more than 5 reppings may be handed out in a 24 hour period. If you do a lot of repping to try to get 20 other people in a hurry, you may get a message related to this other limit instead.

Could it be your rep/100 instead? My numbers don't add up with the formula you posted.
