I have been wanting to come up with a character that would be an escape artist. But I thought that instead of just doing skills, maybe some powers that would represent skills would be a good idea.
I want to come up with something like the typical movie escape where at the last second the person figures out how to get away from the trap, just as it is about to explode, and he (or she) manages to get away just before the explosion that would kill him destroys a 2 block radius.
I have some ideas but I wanted to see if anyone else had any ideas that might be less cumbersome than mine.

If the escapee is not only getting out of the trap at the last second but can be two blocks away I can only think of some sort of teleport power. Make it take extra time to simulate the time it takes to get out of the trap and to sneak away.

desolidfication or shrinking with invisible power effects might work you could then add requires a skill roll and extra time etc
