Okay round Four, and same as before: Do to an interdimensional crisis heroes from four worlds must battle, in four way battles to determine who are the greatest Champions of all times, LET THE BATTLE BEGIN, The battle of the Arcane arts has begun.

Marksman of the Guardians: Donald Henderson was a profesional soldier serving in Korea and Vietnam, he donned the costume to hide himself when he discovered his father (Through Henderson Electronics) had dealings with Demon, after breaking up the arangement Donald realised his father was trying to expose Demon, but all Donald had done was ruin his fathers credibility. As such Donald now runs the family buisness.

Seeker of the OCU: Found in the wreckage of his family's jeep by a ex ninja assasin from WWII, Don Morgan was trained to be a ninja in the outback of Austrelia.

Seeker of C:NM: Adam was the only real success from a Axis experiment to creat the perfect soldier. Escaping from the small island that housed the joint Nazi/Jappenese experiments (That continued years after the end of the war) he picked up with a Master Martial Artist, who trained him in the MA. However the Axis were not done with him, in an atempt to get Adam back they killed his master, Adam in turn killed them. He joined the Champions of his world so that he could use there resourses to find out more about his past

Nighthawk: What can crime do to a man, Nighthawk answers this question. After being involved in a fight with Viper his face was badly scarred, he decided he wanted to fight injustice, through sheer training and some special gadgets he has now taken the fight to all those who would prey on the innocent.

As usualy, assume all characters have been built to 350 points

I voted for the one and only original Seeker. Of course I'm thinking of the Watchers of the Dragon version. :)

But Marksman? Why did you put the gadgeter in the with martial artists? I would have thought he would have been a beter match for the various Defenders.

Who would you have suggested in his place as a Guardians representitive? The team did not have a dedicated Martial Artist as far as I can tell. Then again I tend to look at Martial Artists as part of the "Skilled Normal" opposed to as there own thing (My personal thing) so in that sense he works.

Second I would clasify him more as a Weaponsmaster that a gadgeteer, but again intelegent people can disagree...

Nighthawk is the skillmonster, the detective. He has martial arts and martial arts weapons, but he's more spread out.

Don't forget his gadgets, Thermite pellets, etc.

While he's not a great martial artist, you're dead on about his sheer versitility.

Honestly I don't know who I would have put in his place. You are absolutely right the the Guardians don't have a good fit. I quite likely would have gone with Crusader, he existed in the early editions and had a heroic option. It is probably no better than your choice. But as you say intelegent people can disagree...

It doesn't surprise me that Seeker has such a commanding lead. The hackneyed background, not withstanding, the main problem with Seeker was that he seemed like a 1st draft character. He just needed some additional polish (which he got in Watchers of The Dragon ). He was, however, the most personable and "fun" member of the OCU Champions.

Seeker is cool!... except for the origin.

I don't even mind the origin to much. My only gripe with it is it reeks of the 80's.

It is at least in part original, with the character going out to find answers to unanswerable questions I find fasinating...

If Seeker survived death on the cover of umpteen Champions books, he can certainly take these hacks and second-raters.

Oddly enoug, I voted for Seeker as a "popularity contest" sort of way of course the Watchers of the Dragon version is pretty fierce.

Marksman is the next highest on the threat level.

Seeker NM and Parrot head just don't have a chance.

Only real problem with seeker was the lack of resistant defences...Steve why didn't you give him some as a pre combat luck combat luck type power?
