Couple of things I'm after. While I've managed to mess with some character templates, I still can't figure out what's up with the layout for print templates. Or if there's a way to do something I'm wanting to do.

The first thing I'm after: does anyone have a custom print templat that has less space for powers... but more space for skills? That is, two columns of skills. I'm running a PRIMUS game, on 100/100 points, and on most characters, the skill list runs over one page and onto another one, leading to incredibly ugly formatting (and a second page that consists of about an inch and a half of space).

Second: I've messed with a character template for a friend. I've used SIZE and DEF, renamed them MANA and MREC (feeding off PRE and EGO in the same way that END and REC do from STR and CON). It works out fine in the program, except I get annoying SIZE stat spam in the 'charateristics' screen.

However, I can't get them to print out... that should be a matter of adding more characteristics to print out, but I can't get it to work. Also, if I'm understanding print templates right, I can't get them to print out with my renamed names - only with SIZE and DEF.

Any solutions?

1. For the print templates, you should use either the RTF formatted templates, create your own modification of one of the existing ones, or ask one of the folks on the boards here if they'd modify one for you.

2. For printing out the SIZE and DEF characteristics, you can have them labeled whatever you want. The export template used specifies what values to print out for each characteristic...the labeling of the characteristic is entirely up to the template.
