I'd read the page references before I just wanted a confirmation on it. So a character can go from standing still to megamovement instantly? They just have to follow the normal rules for aceleration and deceleration with addition they can't just drop from full mega movement to normal scale instantly by switching to a non megascaled movement

Ex: Power Armor Guy has 5" inches of Flight Megascaled to 1=1000. He can accelerate move 5000" from a standing start on any of his action phases? And he equally stop almost as quickly but since he can decelerate by 5 "hexes" normally?

A character, whether moving at ordinary or Mega velocity, accelerates at the rate of 5" per hex until he reaches his full velocity. In the case of MegaMovement, the velocity and the size of the hexes over which he accelerates are both affected by the MegaScaling. Thus, the character in your example (Flight 5", Megamovement 1" = 2km, if I read you correctly) can accelerate by adding up to 5" (10 km) of movement per every 2 km "hex" -- and yes, that means he can go from 0 to 10 km in one Phase, over the space of 2 km. He decelerates the same way.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but what I think you're asking is this: does a character with MegaMovement have to use the normal acceleration rules to reach his Mega-velocity with his non-MegaScaled inches of movement before he can "shift into" MegaMovement, or is he otherwise required to spend some lengthy period of time accelerating to full velocity? The answer to both those questions is "No," as outlined above.
