For anyone not familiar with this book, Mythic Greece: The Age of Heroes was a sourcebook by Aaron Allston for fantasy campaigning in this world, dual-statted for Rolemaster and Fantasy HERO (First Edition of the FH rules, before the HERO System was unified). It presented the cosmology of the world as the Greeks of that era believed it to be, including writeups for the gods and major heroes, but also presented great historical detail on Greek culture, and useful notes on other real contemporary peoples of the Mediterranean and Middle East.

Aaron Allston later provided a free update of much of that material to Fourth Edition HERO System, and that update is still available on Shelley Mactyre's "Red October" archives, as a ZIPped text file. Just go to http://www.mactyre.net/october/HEROGEN/Files.html, and click on MG-FIX11.ZIP to download.

I remember that supplement when it first came out, and one of my favorite campaigns heavily drew on it.

The books by Green Ronin are quite good. However, they are D20 and have some interesting interpretations of various figures. The HERO System would be ideal for Faith Based Magic as well as designing critters like Angels.
