I have a partially finished list of prefabs for the styles in UMA, plus all the custom maneuvers found in those styles. I'm at work now, but I can upload them for you once I'm home. PM me if you don't see them in the next 8 hours.

Edit: actually, am I even allowed to do that, or will that violate copyright or something?

Well I dont know if you are or not but you're not selling it for a profit and thus not breaking the letter of the law! theowl88@yahoo.com is a good place to send said upload if you cant put it hear!

When the UMA first came out, I made a prefab of all the styles, and was told not to make my work public. I have emialed to to a few close friends (ones I was pretty sure already had UMA). Realize this thread is a week old, but just in case.

I have UMA & NH but it would be so nice if the prefabs already existed on hero designer v2.43

I'll send it to you later today. I just started my shift at work so I won't be home for most of the day, but as soon as I get there I can send it out.

Ultimate Martial Artist and Ninja Hero Character Pack
SKU: DOJHERO705

This costs 6 dollars and has all of the martial arts (w/ associated skills Weapon Familiarities, disads, etc.) The only thing it doesn't have are "Powers" suggestions.

And it only costs 5.99 (since HDv3 only came out recently, all of the packs in the online store are either compatable with v2.xx or were made under v2.xx)

(Disclaimer: I may be wrong about the last statement but they should be compatable)

They should be compatible, and 6 bucks ain't unreasonable compensation for the work of making the prefab. I'm a bit leery of the company made prefabs though because I'm picky on formatting. If I have to go through almost every maneuver and style and correct the way something is presented anyway, I might as well make it myself.

Common misconception. You don't need to be making a profit distributing someone elses IP for it to be illegal. At least not in the USA. Now whether or not Hero would consider someone handing out a prefab with the martial arts from UMA, I don't know. I don't work for them, and certainly don't represent them. However, since they are selling a product that is exactly that, I wouldn't be surprised if they did object.

And any of them should work under v2.xx, though some of them were actually created under v1.xx. Some of the newer ones might have been made with v3.xx, that I don't know for sure.

I bought the pack along with my UMA, and I know for a fact that the prefabs work in every single version of HD - I use them with pretty much every character I build, and find them to be a steal for $6

Unless you reformat regular maneuvers, you should experience no problems except where the limitations of current HD design fails to allow custome maneuvers to work "correctly." Some of the names for a handful of maneuvers are lengthy enough to cause me to alter the name or change the margins of the page in certain export formats. Overall, I expect you'll find that the money is well-spent. Unless you value your time at less than $1 an hour (and it'll take you more than six hours to fab them yourself).

It took me just over an hour. About 20 minutes or so to enter in all the maneuvers, the rest of the time spent creating lists of them, occasionally renamed, to create the styles (and entering in a list of custom maneuvers presented only in certain styles).

Wow - you work fast. I started doing that for the Grimoire, took me four hours to get up to halfway through Elemental Magic.

HUGE difference there. Martial Manuvers for the most part are just double click, type in a name and click okay. When you're dealing with powers, SO much more goes into it. It didn't take me long at all to do UMA, but took me hours to complete one set of powers in the USPD.
