What would I need to keep in mind if I wanted to submit an article to, say, Pyramid?

I would like to submit a Hero System article to Pyramid, an online RPG magazine run by Steve Jackson Games.

I think you'd need to keep in mind that it should be a great article!

Seriously, though, I'm all in favor of our fans submitting Hero articles to other publications. Steven Marsh, the Pyramid editor, is a big Hero fan, and I'm sure he'd like to see some Hero articles in Pyramid. So, good luck!

What about articles that have already appeared in DH? Is there a way to finagle permission to submit the same thing to them? I'm sure there are legal ways to do it, as long as everyone involved agrees to the terms and has a clear understanding. There are plenty of people who read Pyramid but not DH.

Absolutely not. Hero bought and paid for those, so they're Hero's property. You cannot submit them elsewhere.

I may not submit it to Pyramid after all. DH has more people who are interested in Hero probably than Pyramid does; I think more people here will at least comment on it, if not use it.

Only thing is that DH is a bit preaching to the choir. Not to say you shouldn't target that, just a note.

I wonder if there's a subscriber total available for each one. I hope you submit it to Pyramid, 'cuz I've got a subscription there but not to DH.
