I am really looking forward to Fantasy Hero coming out.

What book is next on your schedule to write??

According to the release schedule, the next book up after Fantasy HERO is the new VIPER sourcebook for the Champions line in August, which Steve is writing along with the co-author of the 4E VIPER book, Scott Bennie.

After I get home, the very first thing I'll do will be to review the Champions Battlegrounds layouts and get it off to the printer.

Next, I'll receive Scott's sections of VIPER, edit and develop them as necessary, incorporate them with my own work, and get the whole thing off to layout and out to playtesters. I finished writing my parts a week or so ago.

As soon as that's done, I dive into The Fantasy Hero Grimoire, a big ol' collection of spells. After that, I write some bits of Alien Wars and edit/develop Allen's parts of the book. After that, I write Monsters, Minions, And Marauders.

So, as you can see, no rest for the wicked. ;)

Wow! If that is true (no rest for the wicked), you must be VERY wicked!!

Good news about the Viper book. I am bringing Viper into my Star Hero campaign (they are cooperating with a rebellion in the Terran Empire called Ishva), and that source book will come in handy...:)

Just out of curiousity Steve, are you planning to write each and every spell for the Grimoire, or would you consider farming it out to some of us unwashed masses, along with some guidelines/meta-rules to suit various types of magic? Afterall, even Michelangelo used apprentices to paint the Sistine Chapel.... ;)

I'm doing it all myself. I did the USPD; I can do this. It's quicker and easier for me to do the work the way I want it than to have to correct/revise/reformat others' work.
