Here's a site that I discovered today with photos of a 19th century Japanese mining town that could be used for a variety of purposes. As is, it's pretty creepy, but cleaned up, it could make for a nice exotic locale, if your pulp game runs toward the globe-spanning adventure variety.

As the captioner observed, that would definitely make a great setting for some sort of post-apocalyptic movie. Nice find!

Being a Lovecraft fan, I can't help but think of it in terms of a horror story. It definitely has an "Innsmouth" thing going on. :angst:
