With the debut of the new Fantasy Hero line imminent in just a few weeks, we're going to be removing the existing FH e-books from the Online Store. This includes the 4th Ed. FH genre book, the FH Companion I, Magic Items, and The Spell Book.
We'd initially planned for today to be the last day those products would be available, but we decided to run a "Fourth of July" special and keep 'em available through Friday, July 4. We'll remove them from the Online Store after that -- so if you want 'em, better get 'em while you can! ;)

I take it that means that the Fantasy Hero Companion II won't ever be coming out as a .PDF then...

Correct... while I was about halfway through with the layout, I had to put it on the back burner while I worked on 5th Edition stuff. Unfortunately, I never had a chance to go back and complete it.

Just playing devil's advocate here, but:
Why not let this stuff remain available to the fans in a special "Classic HERO" section or something?
I mean, the people that still want the files will get them (this is the internet, after all), but if you still offer them for sale, there's at least a fair chance you'll get paid for them.

Because there comes a point at which you have to move on. Once we start publishing books to replace those old books, we want people to focus on the new books, not the old.

There is that, yes. But I am considering buying them, obsolete or not, simply because they are in PDF form. I can carry a veritable Hero System library on my laptop.
