Just wanted to let y'all know that Ben just updated the Online USPD (faster than I expected, in fact -- which is why the new entries are dated tomorrow;)). It's got 14 new powers, bringing the total to 77.

What, making monsters jump out of a person's head whenever they are tense is not a good enough power to get in the USPD? Nyah.

Hey, don't worry about it, Zara. As many as it seems I send in, only about half of my ideas get added. With most of them, I can see why the decision went that way, too (though often only after the fact, or I'd have a higher success rate). :D

And Steve... I love the new Whirling Powers sub-category for Speedster Powers. Now it'll be a lot easier for me to write up Ratman's boy sidekick, Bobbin.... ;)

Hey Steve,

Will the Online USPD be collected in a downloadable format at any time?

While Steve has shot down a few of mine, quite a few actually, I figure that when he looks over a power he decides rather or not if fits with the "feel" of powers that DOJ/Hero Games have. If it doesn't then he has to decline from using it.

This is why I post the rejected one's I've come up with or find out about on my site. Other people might like them and wish to use them in their campains.

No, because the intent is to turn the contributions (along with other stuff I want to include) into a book -- a "Superpowers Database Update 2004" or whatever it might be called. While I don't mind posting 'em for reference purposes in the meantime, making 'em easily downloadable would tend to inhibit sales. ;)
