This is not really for Dan, but rather for the Hero Populace who use HD:

I was reading the "Completely New Players to Hero" thread on the "Hero System Discussion" board where they are discussing giving handouts (to new players or at conventions) that are missing all of the hero math... the "real costs", limitation values, advantage values, etc. And I was wondering if anyone has yet made an HD export template that has all of that hidden.

It would probably have just the power, what the limitations/advantages are, and the active cost (In the event of getting hit by drains, etc.). Would certainly be less scary to new players, I'd think.

As I've never attempted to make one of these templates and wouldn't know where to start, I thought I'd see if there was one already out there first before I started to read up on the subject.

I made an HTML one like this a while back. It still includes the Modifier values, because I don't think there's a way to suppress them in HD v1. However, it might be useful for what you're talking about.

Here's a sample character: http://rhinobunny.com/derek/champions/characters/oldglory-short.html

Here's the export template:

Not bad at all :) Thanks! I'll give it a spin.
