So, here we are again, with me asking for help from the assembled Hero-dome. I've got a few posters on these boards that play in my Hero Central Pulp Hero Game, Annals of the Mask and I ask they discontinue reading this post (and subsequent thread).

Now, that those buggers have bugged off...

I need to figure out what is contained in a missing Pulp Hero's lair. The Alabaster Tiger has gone missing. He's part of the 'Veiled Society' and therefore one of the hidden heroes of my setting.

The group has found his lair and finally figured out how to get in. Now, I need to figure out what is in there.

What would an Chinese Martial Arts crimefighter have in his 'secret lair'?

Porno?

Seriously:
notes, in Chinese regarding various criminals (esp. tongs & triads).
practice weapons
real weapons
equipment for making weapons (esp. gas "grenades" and other expendable stuff)
other fighting stuff
idol(s), incense, other "religious" paraphanelia
bed, kitchen utensils, etc., etc. (assuming he lives there)

A broken Darn Do ("Chinese sabre"), in a niche in the wall. This is the weapon of the Chinese Martial Arts crimefighter's father, shattered durring the sneak attack by Tang Cheh, the notorious (and honorless) kingpin of crime who drove the Chinese Martial Arts crimefighter's family out of China. The Chinese Martial Arts crimefighter meditates before the Darn Do and its niche (something of a shrine, actually) daily, renewing his dedication to fighting crime --- and, someday, avenging his father upon Tang Cheh.

Thanks guys. If you feel like it... Keep them coming. I know you don't have a lot of background info, but I still enjoy the inspiration your posts are bringing about.

A large-scale map of the city, on the wall, with pins (in various colors) in it.

If he does much disguising: makeup, facial putty, hair-pieces of various sizes (wig/beard/mustache/eyebrows/etc.), and so on. Also cloth and a sewing machine.

If he does detecting, there's all kinds of stuff. See the forensics section in Dark Champions for hints.

A single tea cup of the most exquisite porcelain, laid carefully on a high shelf. I'll let you work up the backstory for this one. ;)
