Surely there's a Pulp adventure that can be inspired by the pics here:

Now that is an impressive piece of geology. Do you think Bryan Singer is kicking himself for missing the chance to shoot the Fortress of Solitude on location?

Hmmmm.....I see:
Mirrors.
Piezeolectric compression generators.
Planetary alignment.
Combined to create a Teslarian uber-weapon.....
Nice.

"Teslarian Uber-weapon" ? Hmm, that reminds me. I have a book written by Australian Author Robert G Barrett which, while it isn't set in the "pulp" era would make an interesting scenario for a pulp game . "The Tesla Legacy" published by Harper Collins in 2006. A Tesla "doomsday machine" sitting on a fault line in outback New South Wales, a mysterious diary, the U S "Department of National Security", ASIO. A hero who is just a local electrician and his bookshop owner girlfriend. It's got "Pulp" written all over it !:)

By the way, the link now points to a kitty.
But the Crystal Cave is still on there. I wonder if Merlin is stuck in one of those things.

In Mexico...? That would explain why nobody's seen him lately.

Guy had to vacation somewhere...
I can see Merlin with a Corona kicking back in the sand....

I seem to recall a theory about a Welsh prince and his followers sailing west into exile after a sucession fight that might have actually survived in some Native American bloodlines (blue eye recessive genes).
Maybe Merlin tagged along for some sun

I heard something along those lines, too. Do you remember the prince's name, by any chance?

To "Badger" I beleive that the Welsh prince's name is "Madoc". You might have a look on the net (Wikepedia ?) and see what can be found.

Thanks, that was one of the reasons I was curious on the name to do a little wikipedianing ;)

Cool. I'll just post the archived link, since now Steve's link takes me to a panda that watches panda porn. That might also be an interesting story, but not a Pulp story.

Although, when I first saw the link I thought it would take me to the Salt mines of Wieliczka (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wieliczka_Salt_Mine) take a look at the Chapel of St. Kinga. Beautiful.
