I mean seriously, how many heaving breasts do you need to draw? Why do you have to figure out every possible way to show some cleavage? Are you like 14 or something? Damn. Oh, and page 21 of Spacer's Toolkit... does that lady's grandma REALLY want to see her humongous melons? (even though I do.) Come on already, lay off the fun-bags!

Heh. Anyway, welcome to the Hero All-Star Artists Squadron. I really dig your stuff. And your egregious mammaries.

I still think we need a write up of starlords avatar in one of the books.

Could put a splash blurb on the cover...

"Now with 100% more BOOBS!"

Or one of those metallic 3d hologram things so when you angle the cover back and forth you get the full impact of the bounce...

I think she'd make a great net avatar for a Cyberhero game.

Well, at least he diden't do the artwork like "The Big Book Of Let's Do CHampions Bondage Covers". I woulden't exactly mind a bondage cover for, prehaps Golden Age Champions or Silver Age Champions...but there is to much of a good thing.

Keep in mind ... this *is* based off of comic-books, movies and the like ... I mean, just look at Image Comics supermod ... er, superheroines.

More like based off of "Stripperella." :)

That picture is positively tame compared to some comic art (even regular ones, not "adult content"). Nice drawing, though. Hmm, who wants Jonathan Davenport to draw MORE HERO art?

I think this book has some of the most consistently good art of any HERO 5th Ed. product to date, with the possible exception of USPD.

What was that Young Justice villain called with powers associated with her...torso? Was it "Knockout"? IIRC she could not stand up without assistance and was, I assume, a parody of a certain trend in comic art.

Jonathan's got some absolutely gorgeous art in FH -- including more than one picture with no females in it whatsoever.

Around here we used to joke about "living in a Greg Smith world" -- maybe now we have to change that to "living in Greg and Jonathan's world." ;)

Archaeologist Nina Dowd, transformed by radiation from a meteorite into THE MIGHTY ENDOWED!

I can't remember who: We have to fight her?
Superboy: If there is a God, yes!
Mighty Endowed:Why are you trembling in fear?
Superboy: That's not fear! That's anticipation!

Well, I know of her, and I also know she did some real modeling besides porno modeling (including photo covers for some comic books). As for being a fan, well, I realy haven't seen as much of her work. Then again, I haven't sceen much of the Gwendolin series also. (And if you know the refence, then all our minds are in the gutter).

While I don't know the "Gwendolin" reference, I like to consider myself a Gutter dweller, and this lack of pervy knowledge pains me greviously. Could you expand on this point, here or privately?

Then those breasts are going to look awfully funny attached to some minotaur or free-floating... kind of like a one-eyed beholder.

Gwendolin was a "for men" series of graphip novals (before the true age of such novals even begun) in the 1950's drawn by John Willy (I think that was his name). The stories were set in the english countryside of 1940's or so, and told of the adventures of Lady Gwendolin, a submisive blond who found herself tied up a lot (most of the time, to a half post), Agent X-41, a mystereous female raven haired secret agent working for who knows what side, and there 'master', the Lord DeArk (or something like that).

Like I said, I don't know the full story behind them, but I have seen some artwork. And, yes, it is all bondage.

Once upon a time when I was a naive little GM desperate for female players, I allowed a character who could....

...okay, brace yourself....

...induce orgasm in any single male in the vicinity.

I'll leave the combat effects and details of the writeup to your imaginations.

How large do breasts need to be usuable for a flash/PRE attack? How much of an attack? Example: 1d6/5" above 35" +1d6/cup size above C? a 40DD = 1d6+3d6 = 4d6 Flash/PRE w/x2 KB? Any suggestions?

I have a female player who plays a female character named "Rubber Maid". The character is like Mr. Fantastic of Marvel's Fantastic Four, well, not really, she is more like a ditzy blonde in a French maid outfit with streching powers! She brings in a new chatacter sheet each session. The character's breasts get bigger each time. I guess thats ok, since the streching has a limitation, breasts only at a -1/2. She likes bashing villians with these and trys to get the Flash/PRE attack for free? What do you guys (and gals) think?

Rubber Maid: What do you think of these? (drops her top, pushing her streching).

Villian X: I like to box those things like "Sugar Ray" Lennard!

or....

Villian X: Let me think... People like you be because you have big jugs. No, I ment to say because your boobs are huge.

I also have a weird group that use powers sexually, I'm not going into that. I think I will kill them all with Dr. Evil STD!

If you don't mind taking another un-PC stride, you could have her face of against a team of gay supervillains who just aren't impressed.

Or Captain Blase, the man with 60 PRE (Only for Defense).

Definitely Golden Age. Bondage covers were one of the pretexts for the Comics Code.

Then again, I suppose I could live quite happily without any bondage covers at all.

Remember, in this case "bondage" was in the eye of the same beholders who brought you "Reefer Madness". The artists did like to draw pictures of women (almost all of whom were modelled by Bettie Page) tied up, but it was pretty tame compared to what you're probably thinking.

Examples here (http://www.geocities.com/jungle_boy_90210/soti.html). Don't worry, it's safe for work.

Being a Hero Artist, and a really close friend of Jonathan Davenport, I just have to say two things.
1. Jonny's not 14, or a pervert, the man's just a fan of boobies, as am I, unfortunatly I haven't gotten too many cheesecake assignments yet, otherwise, the boobies would be flying all over the place.
2. Am I reading that there are people surprised by the amount of cleavage in print media geared to young adults?

To quote the poet Jimmy Pop..."Hooray for Boobies."

Okay, now that I've painted myself as a professional artist....

Total agreement! Welcome to the world. I challenge any one to find me a modern comic were all the women are under equipped, so to speak. It’s no worse than most of the guys having a perfect body as well. I don’t see a bunch of girls complaining that Captain America shouldn’t be running around in tights because it’s too risk-a.

The guy is a great artist and that should be enough.

Everyone DOES realize that I started this thread as a joke right? I have no problem whatsoever with cleavage. I think there should be MORE in the world.

HAHAHAHA!
This whole conversation is absurd, I love it.
When I write my autobiography, I'm going to title it:

Andrew Cremeans - In Defense of Boobies: The memoires of an artist.

That is unless Jonny has already copywrited that for his book.

Andrew Cremeans - In Defense of Boobies: The memoires of an artist. Now that’s a great title. It would make the NYT Best seller list on the title alone. I know I would by one.
