View Full Version : Why RKA + No Range? (e.g., Poison)

I'm sure this is an easy one, but I couldn't find an explanation for it. Why are poisons bought as ranged killing attacks with the limitation "No Range"? Or, to put it another way, what has the purchasing character given up in exchange for the -1/2 point break he gets for doing so (when compared to buying an HKA)?

Thanks!
Ben

You can purchase 'em as HKAs with "No STR Bonus" (-1/2) if you prefer. I do not prefer, so I construct them the other way. Cost's the same, though.
