Reaper is making minis for Goo's main supers, and West Wind has their Superfigs...
It would be so cool to have official Champions minis (I still have a couple of the old ones). Are there any plans to produce or license some?
While I'm at it, I have to add this suggestion: since the Hero system is so flexible, I think some modular plastics (you know, pick the head, body, weapons -- mix'n'match) are in order.

The problem with mini is either they sell like hotcakes or not well at all.
There are tons of pages on how to re-paint/re-shape HeroClix figures, I use them all the time for Champions minis.

I found them doing a search for "Hero Clix". This thread is particularly useful and informative:

We have no particular plans to produce miniatures at this time.

Ah, sorry I missed the earlier thread.
As for the lack of immediate plans for minis...that's okay. I'm patient. :)

One thing I have always thought there might be a market for was really generic miniatures. Basically just males and females with minimal detail in a variety of poses and body shapes (hmm, that sounds slightly rude).
You could simply spray paint them for use as bystanders, Viper agents, thugs, police etc. (different colours for each use?), or add detail with, say, Miliput and then paint them for the main characters.
Admittedly, this is fiddly, but it might get round the big superhero miniature problem, which is the enormous variety of different characters one might encounter. No range is ever going to match all of your home-grown characters.
One of you clever people will probably now come up with a link to just such a range.

You can do quite a bit with GW's plastics. They all still have a fantasy feel, but their plastic Empire infantry is really flexible. Plus plastic is just so much easier to do conversions on, anyway.
Holistic has a game called Combat Zone (http://www.holistic-design.com/Minis/CmbtZone/CZone.htm) that comes with quite a few mix'n'match figs. Good for street punks and agents at the least...
