can you abort a action with a teleport ,(defense maneuvers)............is it legal?

5th edition revised page 233 says

"Characters cannot use Teleportation to perform Move Th roughs or Move Bys. Characters cannot Abort to Teleport, but can Abort to Dive For Cover with Teleportation."

Yes,
if the optional Dive For Cover maneuver is being used.
