Search option: Am I missing something?

An a lark, I wrote down the names of some of the troub... err, most active posters on Non-Gaming and tried to use Search to find out how active they were on the other boards. Apparently, the utility doesn't allow "username only" searches? Is there a way around this?

Also, are "signature lines" exempt from the utility?

I've been able to do username only searches here before. I just ran one on your username and got 700 hits. ;) Perhaps one of the search options was toggled incorrectly when you tried.

I'm virtually certain that signature lines are not covered by a search; I just tried one of the words in mine and got only 18 hits, which just doesn't add up for 1000+ posts.

If you go to indiviual profiles, there is a button, search for all posts by this user. I searched yours and found 1267 posts.
