I just learned a cool trick on Lifehacker. It is originally posted as a way to recycle office paper, but this trick is quite applicable to Hero System. If you have a lot of character sheets and npcs that you no longer need, why not recycle them into a blank book.

Hmm..not incredibly interested in having a book with a bunch of old notes on every other page, but I have been looking for that binding method for a while.

Thanks for the link.

I figured this would be a post about using old character sheets as the basis for "new" characters to bring into a game. Imagine my surprise when I realized Recycle is meant literally :D

Character sheets of old characters are like old friends; which makes this feel like murder of at least the fourth or fifth degree. For shame Super Squirrel, for shame.

Crap! I must be the Pol Pot of character butchering then. If I haven't played a character in a long time, then I get tired of lugging the darn thing around. **RIP** **CRINKLE** **TOSS** :eg:

Note that I did say "and NPCs". :)

My characters will be showing up to liberate your house from this tyrannical butchery.

This reminds me of that old "Recycle your Old Pets" website.

'sides, they were mostly D&D characters (some Shadowrun) anyway. I have seriously considered converting the spirit of some of those characters into HERO and posting them somewhere anyway. Would that be resurrection or reincarnation? ;)
