View Full Version : Will HD continue to release character packs?

I posted this question last week in the HD forum but was advised to post it here instead.

Having just recently purchased HD and noticing the various character packs available to download, would you be able to tell me if HD will continue to release character packs as new products come out?

For example MC has not been released yet as a pack download and will the Viper and Until books be released as download packs?

It depends on how they sell. Right now we do plan to put out other Character Packs, because the existing ones have sold well enough to justify the expense of proceeding.

Kewl. The Ultimate Vehicle and Spacers Toolkit would be welcome. :)

Out of curiosity, are there plans to do a "character pack" for the Until SDB? There are no characters, true, but having prefabs for the power sets would be quite handy.

We're thinking about that. If we do a USPD Pack, it will probably cost $30, because unlike other books the Pack would essentially contain the entire contents of the book -- and we'd rather encourage you to buy the book.

Yeah, I was afraid of something like that. Id probably still buy it ($30 to save myself some time is worth it to me), but I dont know how many others would. :(

Might take a bit to add it into the budget, but I'd get it.

Something I'd like to see is a HD pack of characters from Digital Hero -- at least the "official" characters such as we see in Darren's column. Or did you want to save those for possible book appearances first?

Until they appear in books they're really only "semi-official" at best. We wouldn't do an HD pack of 'em until they made it to actual hardcopy publication. ;)
