I have a Car Wars/Dark Champions hybrid campaign almost ready to start with one opening. The original call for players is below. I'm looking to fill the driver role in the cast listed below. If interested, send a completed submission to me directly via PM.

------------------------

This is the official call for players for the Flirtin' With Disaster campaign.

If you've ever found yourself in traffic wishing you had a rocket launcher, machine gun, flame thrower, or laser strapped to the hood of your car, then this campaign is for you. If you've ever pondered the mechanics as to how you'd mount and install said arms, then this campaign is for you. If you've ever considered loading a sidecar with explosives, then this campaign is for you. If you've ever done any of these things...well, seek therapy, but this campaign is most certainly for you.

All character construction guidelines and campaign world background information can be found on the campaign website here: http://www.globalguardians.com/flirtinwiki.html . All persons submitting characters should spend some time reading through the campaign world background material. There's plenty of hooks and angles in which to find solid basies for PC backgrounds.

All submitted characters should be living in Arlington and it's environs at the start of the campaign. That being said, they can be from anywhere, originally. Arlington is a big city and there's pretty much all kinds of people to be found there from all walks of life. Just don't get too weird on me, ok?

The starting cast will include a driver, a gunner/navigator, a biker (or cyclist, if you prefer), a mechanic, and an "other". The "other" can be a trucker, another driver, another cyclist, a thief, a doctor, a circus clown - it's basically an undefined position; the dash of Tabasco in the pasta fagioli, if you will.

Send your submission to me directly at this email address. Submission emails should have "FWD Submission: (position)" in the subject line. Submissions include a full and complete background, which means:

Character Name
Player Name
Player Email
Age/DOB
Hair/Eye Color
Height/Weight
Background/History
Personality/Motivation
Appearance
Character Quote

I tend to discard submissions with backgrounds of two paragraphs or less. Give me detail. I'm a background carnivore: give me meat. The more you give me in a background, the more I can give back to you in the form of subplots and game twists.

Character sheets aren't required at this stage, but if you have one, I'll take it. If you have an .hdc file I'll take that, too. Submissions should be attached as a seperate document to your email. I prefer MS Word or a simple text file.

If you have any questions, please ask. I'm here to help.

The submissions period will close on rolling Fridays going forward. What that means is that, come Friday, May 11, if I have enough good submissions to fill the roster, I'll close submissions. If not, I'll leave the submission period open for another week and reassess again on the following Friday. And so on. So don't delay. Act now! Operators are standing by...
