Ben,

I don't know if anyone else is seeing this, but the top of page links in the forum areas is stacked top to bottom, not going across the top of the page.

Can't second you, Emerged. It's still left-to-right for me, same as usual.

Maybe its a Mac problem. I checked with both Safari and Explorer (OSX) and I get the same thing. Links stacked, not side by side.

Aroooo Ditto. I'm experiencing the same problem. Only occured today (so far). If I remember I'll try with other mac Browers.

I just took a look at the HTML code and there's not much that can be changed about it.

The links are just images....there are no br tags between any of them. The table data element that they are contained in has the "nowrap" attribute set, meaning that items within it should not wrap onto a new line unless an explicit line break tag is inserted.

If your browser is wrapping them anyway, then it is failing to implement HTML 2.0 specifications (which are about 10 years old now).

Have I mentioned recently how much I abhor Mac? Great idea, pretty system.....<i>horrible</i> implementation.

The links were working fine till yesterday.

And lets not go down the platform wars road. There's plenty of issues with the WinTel platform I could ping on.

I just took a look at the code, and the table that holds the top links is defined as:

table width="100 %" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"

That space between the 100 and the % should not be there.

The funny thing is about this issue is that graphics at the top works correctly (for me) on the home page but not on the Forum pages.

Different code. The main page has a fixed width, while the forum pages is set to 100% browser width. The table that defines the image links at the top of the forum pages somehow got a space inserted (so it appears) between the 100 and %, so some browsers are interpreting that as a width of 100 pixels, not 100% screen width.

This is my fault.

I was messing with the settings on Friday trying to make the whole board be at 800 picels, but some things got messed up. I thought I had fixed it but I put that space in there. It should be fixed shortly. Please report if I have fixed it.

Working at home or did you have to go into work to fix it? Whatever I hope the "Secret Masters" + Steve and Darren notice the extra time you put in.

Thanks Ben, I really appreciate your time outside working hours fixing it. Who said that HG isn''t responsive to customer feedback, and provide exceptional customer service.

He's only posted about 421. ;)

Hmm. I figured the insane post count was residue from experimentation with the board system, but as lord of the board hacking the parameters is a perogative.
