"Our arrows will block out the sun"

I was wondering if there are rules for the "rain of arrows" falling from the sky? The kind of situation where everyone within range is going to get hit once or twice (like an AOE attack) but the potential for getting hit 5 -10 times (like an Autofire attack) is also there.

Sure -- the Area Of Effect and Autofire rules. ;) I also think that some aspects of the Mass Combat rules in FH simulate what you're talking about as a "special effect." And of course, a GM running a campaign where that sort of thing occurs frequently could easily concoct his own rules for it.
