For those PS2 gamers I ask to give your opinion.

I am only ~ 8 hrs through so please no spoilers, but thus far I have been enjoying my time. My head hurts after more of the plot has come through and more threads are woven into the tapestry.

I like the concept of the gnosis, but dislike the appearance of some of the characters. Mostly Shion & MOMO, I guess its just because they come across goofy IMHO.

Controls are interesting, differing attacks depending on button, and liking attacks depending on sequence.

Magic = ether, I am not too impressed with yet.

Graphically good, but not as good as FFX.
Could use more actual CGI cut scenes, but I always believe that.

Sound, there are occasions of great sound, and of course there is opposite of that too.

Looking forward to ~80 hrs. I love any game that gives me more play time than dollars spent.

So is it a game you enjoyed? Or no.
Keep your interest? Impatiently waiting for XS II as many wait for FFXII?

Almost done. Its kind of like a movie with a bit of game thrown in. Lots complained about that. I don't see it as a problem. Its fun and I've heard that the second(and the images I have seen have been impressive indeed) will have more game play. I have enjoyed it tremendously.
