Play by eMail? Not any longer!

Lost Coast Gaming (http://LostCoastGaming.com) is joining other websites in introducing and promoting Play by Electronic Media to website/mailing list gaming. :)

We're always on the lookout for visionary gamers and GMs who are interested in using all the functionality the web can provide to tell (and participate in) vivid, multi-dimensional stories. LCG provides gamers with a wide array of tools to help automate the storytelling experience without "automating" the stories themselves. In addition to gaming in the "collaborative book" format, GMs and players have two on-site ways of contacting one another privately; a forum board dedicated specifically to OOC conversations in each game (and world, if you're into world creation as a hobby!); blogs (called journals) for each player and GM; access to wiki software to personalize your campaign backgrounds; image galleries for posting character photos, world maps, battle maps, and so on; RSS feeds to publicize your kick@ss game; mailing lists to facilitate those who can only play via email; and upcoming podcasts, chat rooms, and basically whatever else we can think of to make gaming at LCG as much fun as you can have with your clothes on.

The site has been active since June of this year and there is already one game (Dark Champions) in it's second "chapter"; one fantasy game in the midst of an active "call for players"; a third game (superheroic) getting ready to launch its player call; and two (one fantasy, one space) other games still in preparatory stages. All in Hero System 5!

So, yeah. Slide by Lost Coast Gaming (http://lostcoastgaming.com) and take a look at what we've got to offer. Better yet, sign up and tell us what YOU'VE got to offer!

Thanks for reading along.
