Okay, FREd says that even if Density Increase is bought at zero END, the strength still costs. That's fine, and is the way HD works. What I can't figure out, however, is how to buy reduced END for that strength. I could simply do it as a naked modifier, but I was wondering if there's a way to have it actually reflected in the printout (or in the program itself).
I've tried making DI add to primary value, then buying STR as a power, clicking 'add modifiers to base char' and applying reduced END. Unfortunately, that only applies the modifier to my base STR, not the DI STR.
Any ideas? Or should I just stick with the naked modifier?
