Hi all,

Quick 'how to' question: I was trying to buy hardend on 18 of my PD and 10 of my ED. I couldn't figure it out without a major kludge. Here's what I did...I know there's got to be a more elegant way:

42 18 PD / 10 ED , Hardend (x2) (+1/2)
-28 PD/ED buyback (-28 Active Points)

Thanks in advance for the help!

Naked Modifier.

If all the PD and ED you're buying hardened on are bought in the main characteristics tab: go to the powers tab, select characteristics/PD, click 'apply modifiers to base characteristic', and apply hardened. Will charge you only what it's worth as a modifier, and will change value automatically when you raise or lower your PD. Just remember if you buy additional PD as a power to apply hardened to it, too, and same if you buy DR. Then do same to ED.

If you're trying to buy hardened on only some of your PD and ED, then you're out of luck. That's against the rules, and isn't supported natively to the program. Naked modifier is the only way to do it.

Looks like you've bought a bunch of PD and ED on the Characteristics tab. Don't do that. Instead just buy them as Characteristics on the Powers tab, and buy them Hardened.

Is that not working for you?

If you want to buy them all Hardened, you can buy them on the Characteristics tab, then go to the Powers tab, buy Characteristics, +0 PD, Hardened, Apply Modifiers To Base Characteristic. Repeat with ED.
