I'm so out of the loop, I guess...everyone here is discussing the finer details of the updates and wishlists for the next one. I'm just trying to find out where I can get the program itself... help?

The Online Store (upper right hand on the top navigation bar)

It's also available through normal gaming retail channels on CD, so your local game store may have it. If not, they should be able to order it. :)

If you have a broadband connection, just d/l it from the Online Store. Otherwise, like DH says your games store should be able to order a install CD for you.

also abroad (outside US?)? Via www.alliance-games.com; My RPG supplier goes via his supplier who goes via www.alliance-games.com via Hero.games or is it something that only online can be retrieved?

You can purchase it online (download or CD) or you can go through a distributor and get the CD.

Alliance carries it...as do several other of the major distributors.
