I've gamed (and GMed) for about 30 years. Back when I started, all we had were the original 3 paperback D&D books.
I've played Hero Systems on and off for a number of years, but am not the worlds greatest rule mechanic with this system.

I'm disabled and cannot get out and attend in person game sessions, so PBEM is the only way for me to get my RPG fix.
I'd been involved in a Hero Systems superhero PBEM game for a few years, but the GM has decided to limit the number of players and I was not amongst those that made the cut into the new campaign - Most of the ones who did were either those who had played with him longer or were able to attend occasional in-person games.

If you've got a PBEM game that could use a good role-player, please drop me a line: mrmarkus41@yahoo.com

Thanks

Can you have a group come to you?

Hosting isn't a really good option for me right now. My immune system isn't all that strong. For now, at least, PBEM is best.
Thanks for asking.

Oh, hey, can you game via chat or skype? Does it have to be email?

PBEMs are so sloooooow.

I've used email in the past for these games since it's easier that way than trying to find a mutual time when participants are scattered all over the country / world

I used to think the same way and then by participating in a thread over a year ago I mentioned the need to get an online game going. Over a year later, we're still going strong.

Not saying to ignore what works (PBeM in your case), but don't give up hope of finding something else.

You might try looking over in herocentral.net as well. It's play by post (though you can receive/make posts via email), so may also work for you.

There are occasional calls at Uberworld for players/characters plus solo games are taking place at Solouber.
