I've found the two free documents listing the Heroes and Villains of the Champions Universe extremely helpful in designing and running my Champions Universe Campaign.

What I would find even more helpful would be a pdf copy of the Champions Universe Timeline (from the CU Book) that I could print out and give to my players as a handout (not to mention cut and past into Word so I can add my own "historical" events of the past and entries from our campaign).

Interesting notion, but it wouldn't be enough of a benefit to me. I just photocopied the relevant pages to use as player handouts, with appropriate changes written in, and added a further page of additional campaign-specific events. Not as pretty as a tailor-made document, but it got the job done. :)

If scanning the pages into a PDF would take time away from Ben to work on other projects, I'd just as soon he skip it. Of course, if a Hero fan wanted to do the job and offer the results to the company, more power to him. It might be prudent to check first to see if Hero Games was willing to put up more of their copyrighted material for free on their website.

Mind you, with so many GMs making up their own campaign worlds, I'm not sure how much demand there would be for such a document. Anyone else with an opinion on that should weigh in (and doubtless will). ;)
