I'm trying to reproduce the dragon's tongue arrow from UMA (p. 168) in HD. The book lists the Active Point cost of the arrow as 5. If I buy it as a RKA with the Reduced Endurance (0 END, +1/2) Power Advantage as indicated on p. 173, however, its Active Point cost is 7. So I conclude that it must be bought with Charges, though Recoverable Charges is not listed in its Notes column.

The problem is, how many charges? And how do I represent that it needs a bow? (Linked? Or does it need a bow?)

I could keep plugging various numbers into HD until the costs matched, but I'd prefer to know the correct method. Thanks very much for any assistance!

Cheers,
Ben

The Charges aren't listed because the damage is just +1 point -- the plus being the key thing. It adds to the base damage done by the bows listed below, so it takes on whatever charges they have.

You could derive more accurate point totals by listing all four arrow types for each type of bow, and that's probably what I should've done. But the listed method has the virtue of simplicity and saving space. ;)
