The Upside:
Pulp Hero Vehicle Source book Vol. One is a collection of Forty-Eight vehicle write-ups for a Pulp game. Pages 310-311 of Pulp Hero lists some basic stats for a whole bunch of vehicles, but no write-ups. That's where this little PDF comes in, it provides full characters sheets for those Vehicles.
Automobiles is split into several sections. General Cars contains the following seventeen vehicles; Auburn 125 Phaeton Sedan, Auburn Speedster 851, Blackhawk Chantilly, Chrysler 8 Airflow, Cord 812 Coupe, Ford Coupe, Ford V8, Hudson 8 Coupe, Lasalle Sedan, Lincoln Zephyr, Oldsmobile Touring Sedan, Packard Twin Six, Pierce-Arrow Straight-Eight, Pontiac Silver Streak, Studebaker President 8, Stutz Bearcat, and the Willys 65-Knight.
Luxury And Sports Cars contains fifteen more cars; Cord L-29 Cabriolet, Duesenberg J, Lincoln KB V12, Packard Model 471 Phaeton, Pierce-Arrow Silver Arrow, BMW 315, BMW 328, Bugatti 57, Cadillac V-16, Hispano-Suiza H6, Jaguar SS100, Mercedes-Benz "Grosser" 770, Mercedes-Benz SS, Rolls-Royce Phantom I/II, and the Rolls-Royce Phantom III.
Trucks has the Ford Model A Pickup, Ford Model 830 Pickup, and the Ford Model T Utility Truck.
Motorcycles includes the Excelsior 20R, Harley Davidson 61E "Knucklehead," Henderson KJ "Streamline," and the Indian 101 Scout.
Airplanes contains six airplanes, Curtiss JN-4D "Jenny," Curtiss P-6E Hawk, De Havilland DH84 Dragon, Ford Trimotor 4-AT, Grumman F2F-1, and the Short S23 Flying Boat.
Watercraft finishes out the write-ups with a Speedboat, Ocean Liner, and a Tramp Steamer.
Considering the number of adventures Pulp Hero's get into that involve chase scenes through city streets, planes going down, and other mishaps with moving objects having the Character Sheets for them will be an immense help. Especially when some Player utters the words "I run him off the road!" You'll appreciate having these on hand.
Of course, that's not entirely all it contains - if you have a Secret League Of Heroes Decoder Ring there's a message at the beginning of the PDF for you.
The Downside:
Alas, no vehicle descriptions, you'll have to do some research to actually describe the vehicles in game.
The Otherside:
For three dollars you get character sheets for forty-eight Pulp Era vehicles, what's not to like?
