I've tried puzzling it out myself but couldn't seem to clue in to the whole process.

I want to add in the ability to "name" you're perks and Skills on a custom print template. Does it mater where the labels/tags are placed in the seperate subsections (IE: Talents, Perks, etc)?

I'm not sure by what you're referring to as "placement" of the tags. The order/placement of the tags generally determines what the final sheet will look like. There is also a matter of functionality....many tags are only valid inside of their "parent containers". In the case of the "NAME" field, it must be placed inside of the "SKILLS" (or "PERKS" or "TALENTS" or whatever) container.

Yeah, that's it. I guess my question is does it mater where in the container you place it? Like does it have to be before a certain thing?

Nope...so long as it's in the proper container, where it is in relation to other items in that container is entirely dependent on where you want it to appear in the output.

Appear in the output? You mean like if the format is:

Name:
Display:

I have to put the NAME tag before the display?

Yes, the export template defines how the final output will appear....order, positioning, size, etc.
