Well, IIRC the Hardcover is the updated 5ER version, rather than the 5E version.

That, and it's hardcover, looks wonderful, nice clear layout. I much prefer it to my old paperback edition. I don't normally shill (as I've outright lambasted some products produced by HERO games; loving the system and respecting Steve doesn't mean I like everything he writes) but I would easily recommend this book to anyone. It's my second hardback. I would immediately repurchase any and all hardback texts released by HERO. I'd love to see hardback versions of DC & SH, as well as a re-release of the PH hardback and a PAH hardback.

Mine is ... two years ago now, I think. It's been a long time. And yes, I believe (DW & SL can CMIIW) but it's the updated 5ER compliant edition.
