Confused & Unfamiliar

I am looking for the way to create new templates or prefabs what is the best way and where do you put them?

I would also like to down load the prefabs from this site but again I don't know where to put them and would not want to damage the program. (Not computer literate)

Well Prefabs can go anywhere, as you have to load them to use them. Once a prefab is load, you will see it in the prefab tab, if the prefab has items for that area. You can then select them and add them to the character just like other skills, powers, talnets, etc. As to creation, of prefabs its fairly simple, you create the powers/skills/perks/disads in a charater then choose save as prefabs form the file menu. For more information I'd suggest you read the PDF manual that should be in your install directory.

To create templates, your best bet is to start off with an existing template and just edit it to suit your purposes.

The easiest way to get copies of the existing templates that HD is using is to go to the templates page under the HD Free Stuff section (on this site).

Open up the template in a text editor. The documentation included with HD contains instructions on editing the templates......

Thank you for the quick responces I will be playing with this.

P.S.: Good job on the program in general the only problem I realy have is my computer seems to run to slowly for it.
