Our hero (at least the first one, if we have a runner up that will be a different matter) has a motivation of upholding the good. That's great. Vague, but great. In addition to that as a baseline motivator, we need disadvantages, and some of the best sorts of Disads (IMO, anyway) are the psychological limitations. Points for the personality you were probably wanting to play anyway. :) The choices vary a bit in intensity and/or wording. One of them, Heroic Code, may seem a bit open (But that's fine), another , Overconfidence, may not seem automatically heroic...but it's so common among heroes I thought I would put it in as an option anyway.

It is no different for our hero in the making as we continue our committee creation process. A poll will be up shortly, should be set to end in two days. Don't thank me, thank my insomnia.

Also note, this is just ONE psych limitation, there undoubtedly will be others, perhaps more than one that is on this very poll... but we need at least one to be subject to committee, don'tcha think?
Even if you don't, here's we go

Heroic Code. Given the background that won, and the motivation I voted for (and seems to be winning, yaay!!), that one makes the most sense. Besides, other Psy Lims could easily fall into the Heroic Code umbrella (such as CvK).

I voted Protective of Innocents. That's usually the primary motivation for my superhero PCs.

20pt CvK. My personal favorite. :)

I agree.

What have won so far? I haven't seen anything

Protective Of Innocents. Seems to mesh with Upholding The Good really well.

Tempted to go with Never Gives Up, Ever. . .

I think Idealistic has the greatest potential especially if it's at the 20 pt level.

I just went with "Never gives up hope" not because I expect to win, or anything, but because it looked so sad with 0 votes there ;)

Protective Of Innocents. Seems to mesh with Upholding The Good really well.Same here. I'd also love to see Compassionate on the character sheet, but Protective seems best as a primary motivator.

Yeah, but Overconfident isn't worried.. It thinks it'll win out in the end no matter what.

Mmm, I should have put in "Heart is pure", it would surely have won ;)

I went with Idealistic/Optimistic. Played right, it can encompass a lot of the others. And I like idealistic heroes.

Protective. She's from a stable middle class family. Protecting the kids, being kind to animals, performing charity/church (any flavour) work would have been part of her upbringing.

And Protective of Innocents (Common, Strong) wins. Heroic Code in second place.
