It has been recencly brought to my attention that we can now post .hdc files on the boards. Thus I would like to start this thread devoted to sharing character files for Hero Designer.
Please refrain from posting published characters(ie characters from CKC, Champions, the Bestiary, etc.)
If you have a cool background for the character, and it isn't in the file, feel free to post it.
I'll get things going with one of my characters that I used to play and recently rewrote for 5th ed.
I'll update this post with his background info once I've finnished typing it out( I did it once before.. but I lost it).

Here is our Campaign's Pantheon Agents
Project: Pantheon - Pantheon is my Viper/Hydra... I was originally going to go with Kraken, but these guys sort of created themselves. Project: Pantheon is the brainchild of Dr. Simon Pinehurst who heads up an outlaw 'think-tank' that is trying to tap into the Meta-Human potential that all humans have. The open secret is that Pinehurst has about a 90% failure rate resulting in everything from Death to Mindless monsters.
Pantheon has access to a number of Metahuman crininals (though some of his sucesses have gone into the Metahuman sports industry) who owe him a favor. The Patheon agents are highly motivated ex-military with access to stat-boosting drugs and high tech armor and weapons.
Pantheon uses its resources to attack heroes who are a threat to the Project, to procure new and exciting Technologies and to finance operations through black-bag and criminal assignments. With this more centralized focus, Pantheon doesn't come off as failures or losers (as Viper often does) and adds a nice twist since it is similar in design to Genocide while promoting the propogation of Metahumans.
Pinehurst fill the Telios/Power Broker/Lirby Koo niche in my campaign.

Here's another one. This is the guy I'm playing in our current game.
[Background]
John Ritter(yes I riped off the name) was a graduate student working with government grants to do research in the field of Robotics and Power Armor. With government cut-backs being what they are, John began seeking grants from businesses as well. One such business was actually a front company for Viper. John was testing the armor when several Viper agents showed up demanding that he hand over the suit and the plans to build more. With the armor on, the agents were easily wraped up. But he realised that Viper would not give up so easily. John destroyed all of the files on the armor and left the area. A short time after that Man-O-War was introduced as the newest member of the west coast superhero group known as the Sentinals. After some time with the Sentinals, Man-O-War was investigating a problem with the super-prison Stronghold. There he met Slider and the rest of the Defenders. They had captured a clone of one of thier team and were escorting him to the prison. Man-O-War decided to join the Defenders in thier investigation. Since then, Man-O-War has become a valued member of the Defenders and even served as field comander in Slider's brief absence. He remains the chief technician and team tactician. The current Man-O-War armor(mark 4) is much more streamlined and manuverable than previous armors.

AEGIS - Allied Espionage and Global Intelligence Service These guys fill the PRIMUS/SHIELD niche, except that they are a NATO based group. Their powers are like those of the FBI but their jurisdiction expands into NATO countries and they deal directly with Metahuman Phenomenon. To get around the UNTIL/National Soverignty issue. Each NATO member has a branch of AEGIS that reports directly to them The entire structure uses NATO as an oversight group. They have high-tech weapons and equipment and wear spiffy blue-black leather outfits.
Their symbol is a gold shield/badge with a medusa head on it.

This is my character in MisterVimes' campaign. I posted an early version of him to the old boards a while back. This is the actual working version after a few sessions.

Well I have to jump in here, I mean who doesn't want to talk about thier characters. :-)
Black cat is a martial artists I've played for years... 10 or 11. She started as a martial artists with darkforce powers, and as the campaign continued, she became one of the two stalwarts of the team (the other being the brick Gibralter, played by my wife).
About halfway through the life of the character I had an idea and suggested it to the GM who loved it and ran with it, and those ideas fed subplots for 2 years.
I had her die & come back from the dead, but when she came back, she had lost all of her physical ability, and was a total darkforce energy projector. In actuallity her powers had an intelligence and they were slowly possesing her. In the end she killed a supernazi, and went after the industrialist that was a thorn in the side of the group (after beating the group in the dangerroom). The team caught up to her, and depowered her permananently. She went to stronghold, and all of her skills returned, and then some. There was a breakout attempt, and Cat plus a couple of others tried to keep the rest of the populous in, and those that did that got pardoned, and she rejoined her team shortly thereafter.
At that point I was playing her as a strait martial artist.
Here is her Char sheet on the web, if you don't want to open HD to read her:

Here is another of the Defenders from the game I'm in. We recently had to rewrite him due to rules oversites. He's still pretty tough though.
