Hey. I was wondering if any of you use any sort of palm pilot tools for reffing heroes?
combat orderer program?
dice roller program?
Potato peeler program?

Recipes.
Otherwise, no. That, and mine is ancient and I can't afford to replace the damn thing at the moment.

Hey, at least you HAVE one. Me, I'm waiting for iPod Touch to go down to $10 or something so I can buy me one. =/

I would love one, but I dunno what I'd use it for, it's more the "ooh, something new" thing in me that makes me want one. Maybe more if I were actually doing something game related (and knew of things game related to put on it).

I used to use the dice roller program on the palm - but I just don't have a PDA lifestyle so the frequency of use dropped off to nothing.
I swapped some old hardware for a couple of B&W PDAs (a palm and another) - I was envisioning using them for Paranoia as PDCs - to pass notes.

thats a good idea. I have this pilot m125 palm os4, from my wife. I think it sells for about 30 bucks now used. I am going to get a 1 gig sd card for it should run about 10-15 bucks. I thought about doing something java wise for the palm.
dice program sounds good. its easier to just roll the dice, but wanted it to keep notes till the battery died with out a backup mem stick.

The thing that would be most useful for me would be a program that would automatically generate a combat sequence based on the SPD and DEX of the characters involved, and also allow me to track their END, STUN, and BODY.

Sounds like what the combat tracker will do for HERO designer.
