I remember reading somewhere that you can do this, but I cant find it now in the book.

Yes.

It does cover them specifically in the Ultimate Mentalist.

But you may Rapid Fire any Ranged Attack or Sweep any Hand-To-Hand Attack. Including Ranged Mental and No Range Mental Powers.

Ult. Mentalist suggest switching the 1/2 DCV to either DECV or keeping it at DCV, whichever is the least advantageous for the campaign normally.

Given the general rarity of mental powers, it'd definitely be DCV.

Thanks for all the help guys. I'm thinking I'm going to make the Mentalist at 1/2 DCV and EDCV. What do you think?

Also, Can someone reply to my new thread. Its another rules question.

Given the general rarity of mental powers, it'd definitely be DCV.

In a standard campaign sure. But a Psionic Campaign, probably not.

Oh, I have to try this one. Lets see, base EOCV of 11, 3 levels, average enemy OCV is a 5....switch to the 1/2 end version of my ego attack..I can afford to toss of three ego blasts that way.

Oh, and now for the cumulative mind control and mental illusion powers...
