Yeah, I am really looking forward to this game. I am so psyched about it that I have even been thinking about buying an Xbox just so that I can play that version now. :)

I LOVE the NWN engine.
I will have to say it's a cool engine. I have to load Windows on one of my spare boxes just so that I can start using the tool kit. I've never been tempted to get a X-box, but I'm pretty rabidly Anti-MS.

I got the game, and it is pretty cool. The story is better than the last two movies. The rpg system is a mini D20 system.

I was very impressed with how the NWN engine handles d20 (feats, skills, etc.) and I'm dying for this one... Just one more month till the PC version

A friend of mine is working on the PC version of KotOR -- he says it's good. But then, he would. :)
Still, he said that about NWN, and I loved NWN.
Now if only they would do a similar game, but with Hero rules...

Freedom Force is the closest we've come... and I could definitely see some HERO influence

I loved Freedom Force -- if there was a version of it that was more customizeable like NWN that would be pretty darn cool.

I remember when there was going to be a Champions game for the PC. Too bad it fell through ... it looked incredible for the time :) City of Heroes looks like it could be interesting ... though I really wish it wasn't a monthly bill :(

MMORPGs can be very... addictive. And COH looks great, but I think I'll pass.

I have not even begun to play through all the FF game created by the fans. It will take me a year to get through all of them before I have to worry about FF2. :)

I have actually never played any of the mods. I never got around to it and now FF Center is gone, I guess I never will.

Don't load Windows if you are anti-MS. NWN comes in a Linux flavor. :)

Actually, I bought NWN when the Linux client was ready. Been playing it a lot. :)
Just a little bummed that the toolkit doesn't work under Linux though some people have reported success using Wine.
I'll probably use one of my cheap boxes as a windows box for messing with the toolkit. It's not like I don't have a few spares.
