Actually, Tina, if you're getting that NEWS posting corrected, could you please note that the SuperSquad America slot on June 29 at noon is the final. SuperSquad America is a two round event with qualifying players from the first four sessions being advanced to the final. I wouldn't like to see anyone leave that slot open with the hopes of playing only to find out that it isn't available.

I will be showing up with my girl friend who has been introduced to and actually likes gaming. She hasn't tried Role Playing yet but I think she would really dig Hero, especially Champions. Which of the games being run at Origins would be a good one to bring her to (if any?)

Thanks!

P.S. unearthed mechana is a brilliant name. Origins should give it an award. lol! keep up the good work.

I've already won an award. I get either The Ring of Gy or The Ring of Gax!!:D

About what events you should try go to the origins main site and examine the experience required under the description of the event. If new to roleplaying I suggest a "Toon" Session! Its a great game for starting roleplayers with little in the way of game mechanics and lots in the way of laughs. If you guys join my game, I promise a fun time.

I am sure you will find all of the Hero people very helpful when it comes to mechanics.

See ya There!

Hey Keneton,

Just wanted to let you know that my girlfriend and I really enjoyed the sample game you ran at Origins last weekend. We were there on Saturday afternoon and you ran the game with the Unstoppable Creep.

I'm sure you will remember my girlfriend, she played J-Lo... erm.. I mean Sapphire. She seduced the Creep. In combat! Good laughs were had by all, mostly due to your great roleplaying of the various bad guys. It's too bad we couldn't get a slot in your later game Unearthed Mechana. I think it would have been a blast.

I'm not sure if you are running games at any other conventions, but if you are, I would just like to say that we both highly recommend anyone to play in your games!

It's too bad you live all the way out in Pittsburg, or we'd beg to be in your gaming group. Kind of a long drive from Zanesville, Ohio tho. :)

Thanks again,
Steve (and Sudi)

I appreciate the kind words. All of my players were great! I also think all of the HERO GM's did very well. I was very impressed with mudpyr8's Fantasy game. I was blown away by the great roleplaying of Rod's games, and got to shoot up lots of bad viper guys in Joe's game.

Unearthed Mechane went off well all three times with the Heroes winning (whew!) each time.

Jason and Tina kept us in stiches. Darren was great to talk too, and the Steveo gave me a knife!

This was great for me.... No on to Gen Con!!
:D
