Cedar Falls/Waterloo, Iowa

I have a friend that is moving to the Cedar Falls/Waterloo, Iowa area. He is looking for a gaming group that plays hero. Please let me know if anyone knows anyone in that area.

Hopefully your friend finds Hero gamers in Cedar Falls/Waterloo. I'm in Cedar Rapids, and Hero gamers are a strangely silent group along the I-380 corridor. Best place to check for Herophiles in that area would be at The Core, a nice little comic and game store in Cedar Falls that he'll be able to find in the phone book. The folks there are very friendly and will no doubt be able to help your friend find some Hero goodness.

Whenever your friend gets to CF, tell him to go immediately to Pour Richards' on the Hill and get himself a big thing of beer nuggets. Ah, college memories.

I'm assuming The Core is where Oak Leaf comics used to be right near 18th Street, and it's a great place. Was actually brought into Hero by a friend of mine who used to work there (and still may, for all I know, but it's been years). There was also an off-again/on-again gaming group at UNI, no idea if it's active at this point.

Don't say that! I am moving to CR in a month and need to find a good comic/game store and some people to play Champions with! Oh the humanity!

Any suggestions on stores?
