Champions AND Dark Champions

Sorry if this has been brought up before, but there's a lot of new threads going on and I might have missed it.

Has anyone thought about the implications that Cryptic Studios bought the rights to both Champions AND Dark Champions?

I can't imagine that they're doing a DC MMO, so that means we're probably going to be seeing some official crossovers. Allowing characters to run around in both Millenium City and Hudson City. Official fights between Defender and Harbinger. HCPD vs VIPER, et cetera.

Unless there are other implications I'm not considering.

Isn't it obvious? Hudson City will be the CoV equivalent. Except Steve will get to play the HoJ. :bmk:

I hate to say this, but I think Cryptic thinks that Dark Champions is the game where you play the Supervillian. This, as we all know, is not so. (Or does Game Imformer think this? It is hard to tell).

So, in spite of this, I shall be calling the supervillian version of the Champions Online as Enimies Online. Let's keep Dark Champions Online for Hudson City.

Well, I suspect the Dark Champions line will be more towards the anti-hero. But as far as the actual game play I suspect it will be similar to COV perhaps being the PVP source.

Well, the Harbinger was not part of the sale. Wonder if he made so no one could use the name either?
