New Screenshots

On Friday Cryptic posted three new screenshots to the COMMO boards, so check 'em out! They appear to be hero types, since offhand they don't look like any villains I recognize, but I suppose they could be Cryptic-created villains. Anyhow, they give you a good idea of the look of the graphics.

Lots of people saying the art style reminds them of The Incredibles, and I agree. I really like the look so far.

Screen shots look cool - I haven't played CoH in a long time, but I'm gonna have to try CO when it comes out.

From the context of the introduction from the main page, I'd guess they're PC heroes from playtesting.

It looks very cool. I can hardly wait to try it out.

I noticed that too, and tried to bring it up at last night's chat, but the chat page locked up on me. There's Defender with that glowing blue energy sword, and Steel Commando with those "laser rapiers." I'm surprised they didn't depict Doctor Destroyer with a plasma-zwiehander.

I guess in CO everyone gets a lightsaber--not that I'm complaining, but Lucasfilm might have something to say about it. . .:nonp:
