Is there any way to get HD to use a less wordy format? I have a character who is rather long and intricate. He has a multipower with well over 20 slots, a dozen or so languages, and a large number of other skills and abilities. Using just about any export template forces the character onto 3+ pages. But I am able to fit him easily onto my old one page Excel character sheet. The difference is that I use abbreviations like AP for active points and HID for only in heroic identity. I quite like Designer but as it is now I can't make it give me my character in a usable format.
Any ideas anyone.

Different export templates give you some control over this, but in general, there's only a limited about of flexibility in this area in v1. I believe there will be settings to toggle much more of this stuff on and off in v2.

As Derek mentioned, you have some control over this in the export template that you choose.
You can also edit the text for just about everything in the system (there are some exceptions), so you can change Armor Piercing to be AP or Energy Blast to be EB, etc.
For a more permanent fix, you can create a custom template that has the abbreviations built in (so you don't have to type them in each time you build a power).
