USPD Character Pack Now Available!

Just wanted to let everyone know that the USPD Character Pack for Hero Designer is now available in the Online Store! It has all the powers, options, and variants from the USPD in easy-to-use HD format.

The USPD Pack costs $30, significantly more than our average Character Pack, for several reasons:

1. It contains the entire contents of the book, whereas other Character Packs contain just writeups and omit character backgrounds and other useful info.

2. The Character Packs are intended as a supplement for our published books, not a replacement. We want to encourage people to buy the book, so we price the Character Pack higher than the book.

That was quick. I thought it was only a short time ago you said you weren't going to do this, did someone have it entered for personal use or did they just have very fast fingers?

Sorry, that was probably an inappropriate question, I was just a bit shocked.

Anyway, it's good to see, though it will be a while before I buy it. Have to get FH. Might have to duplicate the work and enter the ones I need myself.

It wasn't so much as something that we were never going to do, but something we were reluctant to do. But given the interest expressed in having such a product available, we decided to give it a shot. If it doesn't sell well, or we find out it causes sales of the book to drop, or we find it pirated somewhere, we'll know not to do it again. ;)

That would be a shame (well, obviously). This is a much easier way to use USPD as a "building blocks" system than the actual book, rather than having to page through it. As well as an obvious help for those building characters with HD.

Me, I'm just mining it for ideas, but I'd still buy it if I could.

Hopefully many people will agree with you and buy the USPD Character Pack. ;)

While I think the book is more useful for actual at-the-table purposes, undoubtedly those who use HD can get a big boost out of the USPDCP.

I bought the book and will definantly be buying this and the Fantasy Grimoir (sp?) when/if you do it.

However, due to buying Fantasy Hero I am going to need to take some recoveries on my cash flow before I purchase for HD.

I understand and have no complaints about the price.
