Hi all
i need to build a spell, name it "lethal dusty cloud"

this one start from caster, and gradually move outward, killing (ie doing damage) to whoever cross it

this is simple: it's a ranged kill attack, with area of effect etc...
but...
how did i create the "moving outward" thing?

i thought something like building it at max area of effect with a "gradual" increase of effect (first round it cover only adiacent inch, then cover 2" radius, then 3" radius... until max radius) but... there is something like this in the FREd? (i got FREd, not 5ER)

ty for answer

I think I'd use Gradual Effect, and the SFX is the expansion. It can be built as an AoE or an Explosion, and I think maybe you might need to take Lingering as well, to make sure the inner parts of the cloud stick around.

Hole in the Middle might be a good idea, too, if the caster wants to live

You have to make it Continuous and Mobile. This attack will cost a lot of END so you'll also want to consider Reduced Endurance or Charges; if you use Charges you can take advantage of the benefits of Continuing Charges since the attack will also be Continuous, otherwise you'll probably want to make it Uncontrolled or Lingering so that your character can be tactically flexible during its duration.

Why Mobile? The radius is increasing, but he's paid for the full radius already, and it doesn't sound like the center point is going to move. I thought Mobile was only to move the center location of the AoE?

Sorry...I read the OP fast and saw "MOVE". Reading it more closely, it sounds more like a Gradual Effect Explosion
